Florence

hey everyone,
well we left rome yestarday. the train through siena was great, it reminded me alot of arazona, but really hilly and with these trees that have really big tops, and no branches on the botom 3/4ths
i am missing everyone and wishing you could all be here. hostel living is really great. i met this girl from argentina in rome, we drank wine and beer till 2a.m. and talked about politics and life and travel. she has these gray eyes, but the right one is like 1 /3 brown. but i didnt fall for her or nothing. she is traveling all over Europe for 2 months. now thats a trip

We Made it!

Holly crap!
We are in Rome. Everything here is so different and so the same. Everyone drives a motorcycle, or a mini hatchback, or a fancy car I have never seen before. People park every where, then other people double park, and OTHER people triple park! The weather is amazing, and even though our flight was delayed for 2.5 hours it worked out for us because it almost completely negated any *yawn* jet lag. Well I just wanted to drop a line, let you know that we got here ok, and tell you that the best cappuccino I have ever had cost .90 Euro. Here are some pics:

we leave tomorrow

well, we leave tomorrow so i thought i would stat this blog so that you can all read, and see our progress. i know life will seem trite and foolish without Neil and I in the country, but I want you all to go about your lives as normal. the market might take a dive while we are gone, however you can also look forward to some cheaper gas. please fear not, however if you all feel that the dollar is just not worth anything anymore then you can feel free to send Neil and I all your money and we will invest it safety of the Euro.
